Chris Robinson - Founder

In 1989 Chris went to the USA where he built up an aircraft simulation consultancy. He returned to England in 1993 as the Operations Director and Co-founder of Message Plus. In 2000, Chris joined pre IPO as the Chief Operating Director. Chris prepared the company for floatation and then engineered his exit to found Direct Response.

He has a BSc in Engineering and an MBA in International Business.

Ian Mitchell - Sales and Marketing Director

Ian has worked as a consultant for The Overseas Development Administration and The Body Shop and went on to set up the inbound voice service for Alternative Networks. Under Ian's sales management company sales increased from 6 million pounds to 17 million pounds over a 2 year period and was the 17th fastest growing company in the UK.

Ian has a degree in Human Geography and an MSc from the University of Bristol.

Adam Tilson - Sales Director

On leaving university Adam started his career in communications within the financial sector.  Managing and supporting large accounts within two of the UK’s major financial contact centres.  After founding Direct Response he was a major driving force behind them becoming the fastest growing call centre in the UK in 2006.  Adam is as comfortable talking to a new tech start up as a multi-national brand when it involves customer communication and service.  Rarely still, Adam has a passion for all sports, cycling, trekking and charity work.

Nancy Parker - Operations Director

A contact centre professional with over 20 years experience in Inbound Customer Service, Outbound Business to Business and Back Office Facilities; Nancy is the new addition to the management team, with vast experience working within highly regulated industries such as financial, government and utilities, Nancy is fully aware that forecasting, planning and delivering an excellent customer experience are crucial for the success of any campaign.

As well as being 100% committed to the success of Direct Response. Nancy outside of work is chairman of the PTA for her daughter’s school and when not organizing school events is an avid bookworm.
