SKY formally recognises Direct Response as its preferred call centre partner for its advertising customers.

Sky is a major force in the UK’s TV advertising. The challenge that SKY had was three fold:

• Ads run when companies offices were closed and 8 out of 10 people hang up when they get an recorded message requesting their details
• Successful ads generated too many calls over a short period of time for their customers to handle, resulting in lost calls and lost business
• Smaller businesses were intimidated by the thought of the response a SKY ad would have and their internal ability to handle the calls and field all of the sales opportunities

Direct Response’s advanced call centre services means that all three of these issues were immediately resolved for their existing and potential customers.

The end result was that SKY and its advertising agents could deliver a solution to their customers that meant they could close more business; it also meant businesses could increase the amount of advertising, and when they advertised it was with no fear of losing calls or sales.
