New developments in the mobile telecommunications market are to become increasingly important to businesses, it has been suggested. Mickael Remond, chief executive officer (CEO) for ProcessOne, commented workers can remain in contact with colleagues and customers by using instant messaging services. He stated by using the mobile telecoms technology employees are able to receive information in real-time, as and when they require it. Mr Remond went on to say the equipment can be used for more than just chatting, such as for allowing workers to keep up-to-date regarding technical and customer issues. The CEO added: "It's a kind of link you can use to contact your client, which is important for your business." A study by Forrester Research released earlier this year claimed the use of European mobile instant messaging is set to triple within the next six years, with the UK and Sweden leading the way in adoption of the telecoms utility.
