Record performance statistics have been achieved by staff at a UK call centre, it has emerged.
According to Rochdale Online, the four call centres of Greater Manchester Police saw their highest success rate for dealing with 999 calls in November 2007.
Some 93 per cent of calls to the contact centres were answered within ten seconds, representing a five per cent improvement on 2006 results.
And call centre consultants working for Greater Manchester Police also made records in their answering of non-emergency calls.
The special number dedicated to communications of this nature saw more than 99 per cent of calls answered, with 93 per cent answered within 30 seconds.
Reportedly, police state that this UK call centre success should boost confidence among residents that their problems will be swiftly and assertively answered.
