Direct Response recently joined the Payroll Giving Scheme. It’s done by a direct deduction from our wages which makes it simple.
All donations are tax effective, so our chosen charity, Phoenix Futures, receives our donations plus the tax we would have paid on this amount. After the first monthly donation of £500.00 was achieved, Phoenix Futures let us know just how this helps them.
"£500/month could make a great improvement to service we offer in many respects. These could include providing:
- A minibus for the services which could be utilised for many areas we would like to develop.
- This would provide essential transport to help access a range of opportunities for our service users. These would range from training and educational to leisure activities.
- A challenging activities programme.
- An arts/craft programme.
- Visiting cultural places of interest
- Providing additional support and resources for our drop-in service
- Equipment to enhance our Independent Living - Skills programme
- Ongoing service user training programmes"
