Consumers can get the best deals by turning to online shopping this Christmas, it has been claimed.
According to financial expert Jasmine Birtles, taking the e-commerce route is a smart move.
She stated not only can online shopping allow buyers to make purchases from the comfort of their own home, it can also result in them finding items on the cheap.
Ms Birtles added: "Online there are some great bargains to be had and more and more people are going to be shopping there."
Recent research carried out by Tickbox.net and Opinion Matters found 82 per cent of those asked feel they have less money to spend this year than last Christmas, but Ms Birtles stated despite this the high street will still be busy every weekend.
She added this is another reason why shoppers should turn to the internet, in order to avoid the crowds.
The financial expert has also teamed up with Lloyds TSB AIRMILES Duo credit card to launch an e-commerce tool aimed at giving consumers advice on how to make their money to further this Christmas.
