Kwik Fit Insurance is taking on new call centre agents for its Lanarkshire base. The firm is looking to recruit 84 new operators before the start of next year. These workers will be employed at the company's Uddingston base, with the recruitment process set to begin later this month. Brendan Devine, the company's group managing director, said that this is one of a number of ways that the firm is looking to "grow its business". He commented: "This is a really exciting time for everyone at Kwik Fit Insurance as we aim to strengthen our position in the UK insurance market. We're growing our policy numbers year on year and we want to maintain that momentum by adding to the great team we already have." These 84 call centre positions come as part of a major recruitment drive for the company, which hopes to employ around 1,000 workers at the base by next January. Elsewhere, the Bourne Leisure Group was recently recognised for the work of its three Hemel Hempstead customer care facilities, with these being added to the top ten of the Top 50 Call Centres for Customer Service.
