A fund manager has been recognised for its levels of customer care. F&C Investments took a major prize at the Top 50 Call Centres show. The company finished first in the rundown, beating the likes of Aviva, E-ON, NHS Direct, O2 and Sky. Cheryl Robertson, director of retail client services for F&C Investments, commented that the recent economic conditions have resulted in an increased need for a "helpful and responsive service" when firms are dealing with consumer enquiries. She added that the company's motto is "expect excellence", which she says runs through everything that it seeks to achieve as an enterprise. Ms Robertson stated: "Therefore to have received this award is a fantastic validation of our total commitment to customer service and the strength of our corporate culture." The Top 50 Call Centres show, which was organised by Call Centre Focus magazine, was held on October 8th at a gala dinner in London.
