An internet service provider (ISP) has been honoured for its performance. Eclipse Internet is one of several firms shortlisted for the PC Pro Best ISP gong, users of online telecoms tools such as VoIP may be interested to hear. This comes as part of the magazine's Reliability and Service awards, which aim to recognise firms which are performing well in the sector. Clodagh Murphy, director of the company, commented that the fact that the experiences of customers has resulted in the firm being shortlisted is "especially rewarding". He said: "It demonstrates our continued focus on delivering our business-class service and reflects the dedication and continued hard work of the whole Eclipse team to put our customers first." Other providers nominated for the award include Sky, TalkTalk, Virgin Media, O2, Freedom2Surf, Nildram, Plus Net, Zen Internet and Be Internet. Recently, Virgin Media and Vodafone were among the firms recognised at the Top 10 Broadband Awards.
