Direct Response is performing exceptionally in the field of staff development, a recent Investors in People (IIP) audit found.
Since its inception in 1990, the Investors in People Standard has worked to help organisations maximise their performance through effective staff management.
Describing Direct Response as an "ideal IIP champion", the audit assessor commended the enterprise's prioritising of its staff and strongly defined culture.
Particularly noted by the assessor were the company's commitment to motivating staff on both a personal and corporate level and its ability to maximise the potential of individual staff members in a way simultaneously targeted at the firm's development.
According to the audit, the principles of good practice and clarified values are "embedded" within the working culture of Direct Response.
"Many staff said that this was the best company they had ever worked for and there was great loyalty to the directors and the company," the assessor noted.
An integrated approach that combines a "hard" performance-based approach with a "soft" individually-tailored method was said to be appreciated by staff for its "honesty".
