The organisers of a major call centre event have claimed next year's show is set to be the biggest ever. Insights, the firm behind the Middle East Call Centre (MECC) exhibition, stated the February expo will include the largest line-up of international contact centre experts the region has seen. Dominick Keenaghan, President of Insights, commented topics up for discussion will include the credit crunch, consumer interaction and increased customer service. He added: "After all, organisations need to project their customer base as much as possible in order to ensure a post-recession survival." The event, which runs on February 3rd and 4th, will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and will be run alongside the MECC exhibition which will showcase the latest technology developments in the sector. Elsewhere, the Call Centre Expo 2009 will be held at the Birmingham NEC on September 15th and 16th, it has been announced.
