A new study has shown that many Brits are unhappy with the customer care they have received from energy companies. Research from uSwitch.com found that only 52 per cent of respondents are satisfied with the service provided by these firms. These figures are based on responses from 5,090 consumers in the UK, those in charge of call centres for gas and electricity companies may be concerned to hear. Of the firms covered in the study, Npower was deemed to be the worst, with just 39.8 per cent of its users saying that they were happy with the customer service that they are being provided with. Meanwhile, bosses of call centres for Scottish and Southern Energy may be pleased to hear that this group came out on top of the study, with 60 per cent of participants being happy with its consumer care. In other news, Gocompare.com has revealed that it has implemented a new email facility in a bid to improve the standard of customer care that it is able to offer to its users.
